Resumo

Este artigo foi desenvolvido com o objetivo de analisar quais características da teoria da gestão comparativadevem ser consideradas como mais coerentes para o estudo da cultura na administração. Propõe-se que os estudossobre a cultura orientados pela teoria da gestão comparativa considerem o caráter teórico-abstrato e o caráter empíricodessa teoria, para que assim os construtos desenvolvidos teoricamente sejam enriquecidos por conhecimentosadvindos de outras ciências e possíveis de serem testados empiricamente.
