Resumo
This research aims to present an interactive tool called OdontoSim 3D, which simulates dental procedures, providing an immersive educational experience, allowing risk-free practice for patients, and improving clinical skills. The use of detailed 3D models and features such as zoom and rotation enabled accurate analysis. The virtual system offers advantages over the use of physical mannequins, such as the elimination of clinical risks and cost reduction. The repetition of procedures and real-time interaction with three-dimensional models improved student learning. The software also showed scalability, allowing expansion to more complex procedures.
